I'm looking for installing Mac os in my HP Laptop coz I can't install windows downloaded Mac softwares from windows pc to many Macbook PCs. If I have Mac os I can go to appstore to download for Macbook PCs. Apps built for Mac will not run on a PC. If you use a shared printer connected to another Mac, make sure the Mac has Mac OS X 10.5 or later installed, isn’t in sleep, and has sharing turned on. See Share your printer. If your printer is connected to your computer’s USB port, open System Information, then click USB. - By rvilbertHi all,
I have been trying to install Big sur on Opencore and i believe i'm almost there but i get stuck on a grey screen with my mouse pointer just before i can see the installer screen.
I have applied the various SSDT patches for X99. I thought that was linked to VirtualSMC which I replaced by FakeSMC but same issue. I also declared my graphic card in config.plist as i thought it could come from there but that's not the issue (Radeon RX 570).
I have been scratching my head for some time now. Any idea from anyone please.
I have attached my EFI folder and my ioreg extract. Let me know if you need anything else.
Thanks a million.
My config:
Asus X99 Deluxe
Core-i7 5960x
Radeon RX 570
@RemB
@jmacie
I would appreciate your help please. Any views of what could be wrong? Thanks a lot

X99 iMac Pro.ioreg.zip - By rvilbertGood evening,
I apologies for the broadcast message but i have decided to reinstall my Hackintosh machine using Catalina 10.15.6 and .... I'm stuck at 'PCI configuration begin'..
My configuration is:
Asus X99 Deluxe Core i7 5960x 32 Gb memory GTX 980
Knowing that my graphic card would not be fully recognised in Catalina i have also tried to install High Sierra but I managed to get exactly to the same point and i have therefore decided to give another try to Catalina and .... I'm still stuck.
(FYI I had managed to install 10.8 on my machine a while ago but a few things have changed since then and I may be missing a trick).
In a nutshell I believe my issue is linked to this message that i'm getting:
Waiting on <dict><key>IOProviderClass</key><string>IOResources</string><key>IOResourcesMatch</key><string>boot-uuid-media</string></dict>
I tried all options (with/without flags and with/without kext) but i think that my issue is between my DSDT, SSDT and config.plist files.
Any help would be much appreciated!
I have attached my EFI folder and the print screen with the error message.
Let me know if you need any further information.
Thanks a lot

We're all here to have fun and learn from each other! - By nyichiban1So I got some new hardware:
Asus Z490I Gaming ITX
NZXT H1 Case
Intel i9-10900
samsung 970 EVO plus NVME
SK Hynix 1TB SSD
32GB G.Skill 3200 C14 Ram
MSI 5700 XT Evoke
So I got windows installed and wanted to install macOS using opencore. I had no luck getting past the [EB|#LOG:EXITBS:START] error and decided to use someone else's EFI who had the same motherboard minus the CPU and GPU (i7-10700k and Radeon VII). I went ahead with that EFI and voila got it to install and got past the error I had. The issue was after the install there is a reboot and that's where it hangs and give me an error log that I attached. Tried a few more things to see what I could do but was stuck on that error log every single time. Decided to try again today and now I can't get past the original error log. I've looked at the dortania guide for that error and tried everything it suggested but still won't get past the error. Not sure what else to do but to try Clover maybe. Anyone have any suggestions? I've attached my EFI as well. Thanks in advance.

You can make all of your displays mirror each other, or extend your workspace with different apps and windows on each display. If you use an external display with your Mac notebook, you can also use closed-display mode.
- 4 Comments on How to install OS X on an HP Mini netbook It’s no secret that Mac OS X runs reasonably well on a number of Intel Atom powered netbooks with GMA 950 graphics.
- Hi, Mac OS is the computer operating system for Apple Computer's Macintosh line of personal computers and workstations. However, I don't knw if I can install Mac OS on my HP Pavilion notebook?
Check your requirements
- Check the ports on your Mac to find out whether you need an adapter.
- Check how many displays your Mac supports: Choose Apple menu > About This Mac, click Support, then click Specifications. On the webpage that appears, the number of displays your Mac supports appears under Video Support.
Use extended desktop mode
Maximize your workspace with extended desktop mode, which lets you enjoy full-screen apps and windows on each monitor. Then, use Mission Control to organize apps and windows across your displays. If your Dock is on the bottom of your screen, it appears on any of your displays when you move your pointer to the bottom edge of your display.
Turn on extended desktop mode
- Make sure that your external display is turned on and connected to your Mac.
- Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Displays.
- Click the Arrangement tab.
- Make sure that the Mirror Displays checkbox isn’t selected.
Arrange your displays or change your primary display
So that you can move apps and windows across your displays in one continuous motion, arrange your displays to match the setup on your desk. You can also change your primary display, which is where your desktop icons and app windows first appear.
- Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Displays.
- Click the Arrangement tab.
- To change the position of a display, drag it to the desired position. A red border appears around the display as it's moved.
- To set a different display as the primary display, drag the menu bar to the other display.
Use video mirroring
With video mirroring, all of your displays show the same apps and windows.
Turn on video mirroring
- Make sure that your external display is turned on and connected to your Mac.
- Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Displays, then click the Arrangement tab.
- Make sure that the Mirror Displays checkbox is selected.
Use AirPlay
With Apple TV, you can mirror the entire display of your Mac to your TV, or use your TV as a separate display. To turn on AirPlay, follow these steps:
- Make sure that your TV is turned on.
- Choose in the menu bar, then choose your Apple TV. If an AirPlay passcode appears on your TV screen, enter the passcode on your Mac.
- Mirror your display or use your TV as a separate display:
- To mirror your display, choose , then choose Mirror Built-in Display.
- To use your TV as a separate display, choose , then choose Use As Separate Display.
- To turn off AirPlay, choose , then choose Turn AirPlay Off.
If you don't see in the menu bar, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Displays, then select the 'Show mirroring options in the menu bar when available' checkbox.
